VANESSA & ALEX: JEWISH WEDDING IN ALELLA – BARCELONA.
Vanessa and Alex’s Jewish wedding was held in Can Jonc, a place in the middle of nature, trees, gardens and vineyards; with unbeatable views of Alella and the sea, very close to Barcelona. In this beautiful environment you will have a special and unique wedding.
According to the Talmud, Rav Yehuda taught that 40 days before a male child is conceived, a voice from heaven announces who he is going to marry, literally a match made in heaven.
In Yiddish, this perfect combination is called “bashert,” a word that means destiny.
The word “bashert” can be used to refer to any type of fortuitous good match, such as finding the perfect job or the perfect house, but it is generally used to refer to each other’s soul mate.
Finding the bashert does not mean that the Jewish marriage will be just perfect. Jewish marriage, like everything worthwhile in life, requires dedication, effort, love, respect, and energy.
