Jewish and Catholic Wedding in Madrid: Uniting Traditions at Batres Castle
I had the great honor of officiating a Jewish and Catholic wedding in Madrid that exceeded all expectations. Alexandra and Edgar, a couple I connected with from the very beginning, decided to celebrate their love in a dreamy setting: the gardens of Batres Castle.
This was no ordinary wedding; it was a beautiful meeting of cultures and beliefs. Together, Father Jesús and I created a personalized and emotional Jewish and Catholic ceremony, a perfect reflection of their unique story.
What is an Interfaith Ceremony?
Many couples ask me what an interfaith ceremony is. It’s a rite that unites elements from different religious or cultural traditions. The main goal is to celebrate love while respecting and honoring each person’s roots.
At Jewish Ceremony, we firmly believe there’s no single way to celebrate a union. A Jewish and Catholic wedding is an opportunity to create a unique ritual, one that is true to the couple’s values and history. In Alexandra and Edgar’s case, the ceremony harmoniously combined the rituals of both the Jewish and Catholic traditions.
Collaborating with Father Jesús
I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating on several mixed-faith weddings with Father Jesús. Our coordination is always fluid, respectful, and focused entirely on the couple. His warmth and genuine connection make every guest feel welcome, while his wisdom adds a profound solemnity to the ceremony.
At the wedding at Batres Castle, we worked together, without rush or tension, to give Alexandra and Edgar an authentic and personal celebration. Our simple goal was to make their day unforgettable.
Batres Castle: The Perfect Venue for Your Wedding in Madrid
The gardens of Batres Castle are a spectacular backdrop for any wedding in Madrid. The beauty of its historic architecture and well-kept greenery create a magical atmosphere. Celebrating a wedding here is a true privilege.
As an officiant, this setting inspires me to connect with the emotions of the couple and their guests. It’s a place where history seems to accompany every word, and where love can be felt in every corner.

A Personalized Jewish and Catholic Ceremony
Every detail of Alexandra and Edgar’s ceremony was thoughtfully planned for them. Alexandra’s entrance was an unforgettable moment, filled with emotion and anticipation.
During the ceremony, we alternated our parts. Father Jesús and I shared words of affection and blessings, blending solemnity with humor. We included the Seven Blessings (Sheva Brachot), and to seal their union, they chose the touching ritual of breaking the glass.
Your Interfaith Wedding, Your Story
More and more couples in Madrid and other Spanish cities are choosing an interfaith ceremony. It’s the best way to honor their roots and create a ritual that is truly their own.
If, like Alexandra and Edgar, you dream of a wedding that celebrates your differences and reflects your story, an interfaith ceremony is the ideal choice.
At Jewish Ceremony, we design every celebration to be unique and authentic. If you’re looking for a mixed-faith wedding officiant in Madrid with the experience and sensitivity to create a memorable Jewish and Catholic ceremony, I would be delighted to help you.
