Jewish Wedding in Mallorca: An Unforgettable Ceremony at Son Marroig
A Jewish wedding overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, in one of the most spectacular locations in Mallorca.
On May 16th, 2026, I had the pleasure of officiating the Jewish wedding of Gabie and Adam at Son Marroig, a truly special place on the northwest coast of Mallorca.
As a Jewish wedding officiant, I have had the privilege of accompanying many couples on one of the most important days of their lives.
Every ceremony is different. Every couple has their own expectations. However, they all share something important: the wish to celebrate their love surrounded by family and friends.
On this occasion, the chosen venue was Son Marroig, with its beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea and its famous white marble temple.
A wonderful setting for a Jewish wedding in Mallorca.
Son Marroig: An Exceptional Place for a Jewish Wedding
Son Marroig is located in Deià, in the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This historic place is known for its gardens, architecture, and spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea.
However, one of its most famous features is the small white marble temple overlooking the sea.
Its columns create an elegant and romantic setting. In addition, the surrounding landscape offers a natural beauty that is difficult to match.
For this reason, Son Marroig has become one of the most popular wedding venues in Mallorca.
Gabie and Adam’s ceremony took place in this beautiful setting.
The sky, the sea, and the mountains created an extraordinary background. Meanwhile, family and friends joined the couple for a moment full of emotion.
The combination of the Mediterranean setting and Jewish traditions made the celebration truly special.
A Personalized Jewish Wedding Ceremony in Mallorca
A Jewish wedding does not have to be a formal or distant ceremony.
On the contrary, it can be a warm, emotional, and meaningful celebration.
As an officiant, I believe it is very important that the couple feels comfortable and understands the meaning of every moment.
That is why my work begins long before the wedding day.
First, I speak with the couple to understand their expectations. Then, I prepare a ceremony that respects Jewish traditions while also reflecting their wishes and personal style.
In addition, I always try to help the guests understand the meaning of the different rituals.
This is especially important at international weddings, where people from different cultures and traditions may come together.
At Son Marroig, the ceremony was conducted in English and combined formal moments with warmer and happier ones.
There was also room for humor, because I believe a wedding should be emotional but should also make people smile.
After all, we are celebrating one of the happiest moments in life.

The Meaning of Traditions in a Jewish Wedding
Jewish weddings are part of a tradition that has been passed down through generations.
Every element has a special meaning. In addition, these symbols help us keep our identity and our cultural and spiritual heritage alive.
Among the best-known traditions are the Ketubah, the wedding blessings, and the breaking of the glass.
The Ketubah: The Marriage Commitment
The Ketubah is one of the most important documents in a Jewish marriage.
Traditionally, it establishes the responsibilities and commitments of marriage.
In many modern ceremonies, its text also expresses shared values such as respect, trust, friendship, and mutual support.
In this way, the Ketubah becomes a symbol of the commitment the couple makes as they begin a new chapter together.

The Wedding Blessings
Blessings have an important place in Jewish tradition.
Through them, we express our wishes for happiness, peace, and a good life for the newly married couple.
They also remind us that marriage is not only the union of two people.
It also represents the creation of a home built on love, respect, and shared responsibility.
The Breaking of the Glass
One of the best-known moments of a Jewish wedding is the traditional breaking of the glass.
This tradition has different meanings.
One of them reminds us of the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem and the importance of remembering our history and our roots, even during moments of great happiness.
After the glass is broken, the guests usually celebrate with the traditional words:
Mazal Tov!
It is one of the most emotional and joyful moments of many Jewish weddings.
Music, Emotion, and Tradition Overlooking the Mediterranean
Music also plays an important role in wedding ceremonies.
At Gabie and Adam’s wedding, a string duo accompanied the entrances of the participants and the exit of the newly married couple.
The live music brought elegance and emotion to every moment.
In addition, the beautiful surroundings of Son Marroig created a very special atmosphere.
The marble columns, the sea in the background, and the afternoon light offered an extraordinary setting.
As an officiant, I always believe that music should accompany the ceremony without taking attention away from the couple.
For this reason, good coordination with the musicians and the wedding planner is essential.
On this occasion, the organization allowed the ceremony to run smoothly and according to the planned schedule.
Looking for a Rabbi for a Jewish Wedding in Mallorca?
One of the common questions couples ask when planning a Jewish wedding in Mallorca is how to find a rabbi or officiant who can accompany them.
Not every couple is looking for exactly the same type of ceremony.
Some prefer to follow Jewish traditions in a more classical way. Others prefer a modern, egalitarian, and personalized celebration.
For this reason, it is important to find an officiant who understands their expectations and can clearly explain the type of ceremony they offer.
I am an independent Jewish wedding officiant with more than 35 years of experience conducting ceremonies in Argentina, Brazil, Portugal, Italy, and Spain.
I provide the kind of ceremonial service that many couples are looking for when they wish to have a rabbi for their Jewish wedding.
My approach is open, respectful, and personalized.
I officiate Jewish, interfaith, and egalitarian weddings, adapting each ceremony to the wishes and needs of the couple.
In addition, I can conduct ceremonies in Spanish, English, or Portuguese.
International Jewish Weddings in Mallorca
Mallorca is a particularly attractive destination for couples who live outside Spain.
Its flight connections, beautiful landscapes, and wide range of wedding venues make it easier to organize international celebrations.
In addition, places like Son Marroig offer the opportunity to combine a Jewish wedding ceremony with the natural beauty of the Mediterranean.
For couples planning their wedding from another country, having an officiant who can communicate in different languages makes the preparations much easier.
I usually have video meetings with couples before the celebration.
This allows us to discuss the ceremony, the traditions they wish to include, and the practical details.
I also coordinate the necessary arrangements with the wedding planner and the other professionals involved.
My goal is to help the couple enjoy their special day with peace of mind.
Jewish Wedding in Mallorca: An Unforgettable Ceremony at Son Marroig
Officiating Gabie and Adam’s wedding at Son Marroig was an experience I will always remember with great affection.
The setting, the music, and the emotions of everyone present made that afternoon a wonderful celebration.
But above all, what truly mattered was the meaning of the ceremony.
Two people deciding to join their lives and build a future together.
And a tradition that reminds us of the importance of love, family, respect, and commitment.
Dear Gabie and Adam, thank you very much for trusting me to accompany you on such a special day.
I wish you a life full of love, health, joy, and happiness.
